Successfully striking shots from uneven lies requires the right technique, including some subtle changes in setup. Check out these tips to help you get into the swing of things. BALL ABOVE YOUR FEET Stand taller. When the ball is above your feet, it is closer to your hands. Grip down the club to maintain the proper distance to the ball. Aim to the right of your target. This shot tends to curve to the left (opposite for left-hander). BALL BELOW YOUR FEET Bend more than usual from your knees and hips. This helps you get into a lower ‘sitting’ position to reach the ball below your feet. Play the ball further back in your stance. Aim to the left of your target. This shot tends to curve to the right (opposite for left-hander). PLAY BETTER. LOVE THE GAME! IRON OUT UNEVEN LIES TIPS | IRON PLAY 31 BY NADENE GOLE DO YOU NEED A TIP TO HELP IMPROVE YOUR GAME?
