Discover Golf : March 2018
Contents
FEATURE of applause, laughter and golf’s current best mixing it with the game’s past legends. The opportunity to watch the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson play a few holes is priceless. And given patrons may only take a camera into the grounds of Augusta National on Monday to Wednesday, you’ll want to capture this memorable day for prosperity. The thrill of being at Augusta on Thursday through to Sunday is unrivalled in golf. The atmosphere around the course is electric. The crack of applause lifting through the pines raises the hairs on the back of your neck. The shockwaves sends tingles through your body. This is a remarkable place. In many ways Augusta National during The Masters week is a place I liken to Disneyland. It features character- filled buildings, manicured grounds and animated staff. It is a place where the masses of delighted guests create an electricity-charged atmosphere. For me, The Masters week was an experience that has taken on storybook proportions. Like each chapter of a riveting fable, each day produced dramatic and captivating tales. I was living out my very own fairytale and I didn’t want it to finish. Now, upon reflection, I realise my Masters story doesn’t close with the words...The End. Rather, by realising my dream that perfect week, my ‘trip of a lifetime’ concludes with the sentiment...Happily ever after! 15 ALL ENQUIRIES PLEASE CONTACT SAM GOLE 0412 230 769 | travel@drummondgolf.com DRUMMOND GOLF TRAVEL ENQUIRE
