Image Credit: Gregory Shamus / Getty Images Dustin Johnson welcomed 2018 with an emphatic eight-shot victory at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Hawaii. The world No. 1 stormed home with an impressive 8-under 65 in the final round to reach 24-under. It was Johnson’s second win in the elite event that is exclusive to the previous year’s tour winners. Spanish star Jon Rahm finished a distant second at 16-under after firing a final round 4-under 69 at Kapalua’s Plantation Course on Maui. American Brian Harman finished in third place a further shot back. Australian Marc Leishman shot a bogey-free 67 on Sunday to finish in a tie for seventh. Johnson now has a PGA Tour win in 11 consecutive seasons since debuting in 2008. DJ CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS January 07 Sentry Tournament of Champions 1. Dustin Johnson -24 2. Jon Rahm -16 3.
