This enables you to swing with the uphill slope. • Play the ball forward in your stance. • Use a less-lofted club—a 5-iron instead of a 6-iron. The ball will tend to fly higher with the launch from the hill. • Aim slightly right of your target. The ball will tend to fly left. (opposite for left-hander) 2. Downhill Lie • Align your shoulders and hips parallel to the falling fairway. This enables you to swing with the downhill slope. • Play the ball back in your stance. • Use a more-lofted club—a 6-iron instead of a 5-iron. The ball will tend to fly lower and roll further. • Aim slightly left of your target. The ball will tend to fly right.
